Since this is my first post, I suppose I should start with a sort of introduction. I’m a 4th-year student at the University of California in Irvine. That would make me a senior, perhaps implying that I will be graduating in the Spring. But college is different from high school, and as displayed in the movie Van Wilder, you can stay in college for much longer than the traditional four years. But as for me, I’d like to be done with it this Spring, god willing.
Music is my passion. My favorite artist has always been (since before high school!) the singer/pianist of Jack’s Mannequin (and formerly of Something Corporate), who happens to share my first name. Andrew McMahon’s work is a profound influence in my life. His musical creations strike a chord in my heart in a way that words can’t describe. Maybe you know what I mean, but I wouldn’t think of boring you with an attempt at the details! Instead, I’ll let you check out what he’s been up to lately through the posts relating to him on this page.
Lest this post grow overly verbose, I’ll leave it at that. Perhaps my future writings will give you a fuller picture of who I am.
